Charlie's Story
This three-year-old Pitbull mix has a lot of energy and a lot of love! At 60 pounds, Charlie still has that endearing puppy energy--bounding around the house, hopping when he runs, and sometimes running just a little bit crooked for extra charm.

Charlie is fully house-trained and even knows how to ring a bell to let you know when he needs to go outside. He's also crate-trained and happily responds to the "kennel up" command, often choosing to rest or play in his crate on his own. He's smart, food-motivated, and eager to please, making him both trainable and entertaining to work with. He's done great living in an apartment, showing he can adapt easily as long as he's loved and given time to burn off his energy.

While he hasn't had much direct interaction with other dogs yet, his foster family helping him learn how to play with others and he's doing well on a case-by-case basis. He also does not have experience with kids, so a proper introduction is recommended when making any new friends. Charlie cannot live with cats.

Playtime is Charlie's favorite part of the day--he loves his rope toys and tennis balls, and while he'll happily fetch when the mood strikes, sometimes he prefers to just relax and watch the world go by. Charlie doesn't need a fenced yard, but he'd love a home where he can stretch his legs and enjoy regular play sessions.

Charlie will quickly become a beloved member of any family--equal parts playful, cuddly, and full of heart!

If you are interested in this dog, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/

The adoption fee is $450.
