Meet Charlie! Charlie is a 5–6-year-old chocolate Lab mix weighing around 53 pounds, and once he gains back some much-needed weight, he’ll likely be closer to 60 pounds of pure love. He came to our rescue from a local shelter and has settled into his foster home beautifully. This sweet boy is the definition of chill. Charlie loves being with his people and is a true Velcro dog — if you’re sitting down, chances are he’s right there with you (lap dog tendencies included!). He’s gentle, affectionate, and thrives on companionship. Charlie would love a home with a fenced-in yard where he can enjoy some outdoor time, and he’d be happiest with someone who is home more often so he can soak up all the love and attention he deserves. He’s wonderful with people and kids, has a soft and gentle soul, and enjoys leisurely walks, fresh air, and quality time with his humans. A few of Charlie’s favorite things? Peanut butter, snuggles, belly rubs, and food — he’s very food-motivated, which makes training a breeze. After a long day, he’s happiest curling up and burrowing his head under a cozy blanket.
