He loves to play but also has his soft cuddly side. He likes to hold onto his stuffed babies, use them as a pillow. Charlie is also a smartie (I’m telling you; the whole package) and leans so fast. He has mastered a bunch of commands like sit, touch, down, (sometimes) come, and he’ll take your hand anytime you ask. <br/>Charlie is living harmoniously with 4 other dogs and is loving pack life. He likes a crew and would very much love having a sibling but it's not imperative. He seems to be able to adjust his behaviour to be very playful with playful dogs or just happily hang out with non playful dogs.<br/><br/>Charlie is kind of sporty and is a mover and a shaker, but is also a chill guy. <br/>He sleeps or rests perfectly in his kennel, or curled up in a dog bed (or couch), then gets up and stretches his long limbs and then heads outside to do his rounds. That means smelling every corner and bouncing around happily. Sometimes it means throwing his toys the air and chasing after them. <br/>His rounds can happen many times a day. He never tires of them. He’d love to do all the rounds of your yard for you. <br/><br/>In his past, we think kids might have been a bit scary for Charlie. For now, we’d say older kids would be the best for this gentleman. He has been slightly cautious with new people, but falls for them quickly once he knows they are nice. Just give him some time to come to you and he will. He’s building confidence in this big old crazy world, and frankly, he’s in love with this life. <br/><br/>Charlie is about 48 pounds and does not seem to be growing anymore. He’s around 11 or 12 months old, we think. So you've missed a lot of the hard parts. <br/>He is a perfect small big dog or big small dog. You can pick him up, but he can also keep up with the big dawgs.
