Charlie's Story

Charlie is a beautiful Red Heeler mix breed that is looking for a furever home and a fresh start to life. He can be a little shy at first but warms up quickly. He is a staff favorite and loves to walk on the leash as well. He is affectionate once he gets to know you and loyalty is his nature. He was born around September of 2015. Charlie was living with a homeless man that eventually found a place to live that did not allow dogs. Thankfully one of our supporters found out about him and brought him to us. Charlie is typical Heeler, he wants to be a family dog but tends to bond best with one man/one woman. They often do not tolerate strangers and will guard his family well. He is housetrained and prefers to live with a girl dog for best harmony. We have a simple adoption contract that ensures our dear little rescue will be treated with care and concern for their well-being and with the respect they deserve as one of God's furry creatures. We do want them to become a part of your family whether they are an indoor dog, or indoor and outdoor. Fences make good neighbors, and are even more important for responsible pet owners. All of our animals must be spayed or neutered, and if this has not been accomplished before they leave us, it will be a requirement for adoption. Our adoption fee is so low you will want to take home 2! We are all about finding great homes for these precious 4-legged creatures!
