Charlie's Story

Meet Charlie - Sunshine with a Tail!

Say hello to Charlie, a gorgeous 3-year-old yellow and white Pitbull with a heart as big as her smile! Weighing in at around 65 pounds, Charlie is the perfect blend of adventure buddy and professional couch potato. Whether she's soaking up the sun in the backyard, going for a stroll, or curling up for a nap, Charlie's motto is simple: life is better with snacks and snuggles.

This sweet girl is super affectionate and especially loves kids-she's the kind of pup who makes fast friends with tiny humans and is always up for a cuddle session or a game of tug.

Charlie's got a playful spirit and is totally treat-motivated. She's got great house manners, knows the basics, and is eager to please-just give her a little guidance and she'll be your shadow in no time.

Now, Charlie does have a few quirks. She's a bit picky about her dog friends and would be happiest as your one and only, or with slow, careful introductions to the right canine buddy. She also deals with some anxiety, especially when left alone or confined, and is currently on medication (Fluoxetine) to help her feel more at ease. Kennels aren't her favorite thing, and she's been known to escape if she's feeling stressed, so she'll need a secure setup and a home where she isn't left alone for long stretches.

Charlie is spayed, healthy, and ready to find a home where she can be safe, loved, and spoiled like the queen she is.

If you're looking for a sweet, silly, snuggly girl with a lot of love to give-and a little bit of sass-Charlie just might be your perfect match.

Charlie is participating in The Love Pit's iRehome program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster. All behavior and medical information is provided by their caretaker, and TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with their caretaker prior to adoption.
