Charlie, 100% Havanese, 100% Love!<br/>Charlie's journey began when he was found wandering the streets and picked up by Oakland County Animal Control. A wonderful veterinarian rescued him from the shelter and brought him to a veterinary clinic, where the staff contacted Retro Doggy Rescue. And that's how Charlie got his second chance!<br/>No one knew Charlie's breed until a DNA test revealed he's 100% Havanese!<br/>At approximately 18 months old and just 10 pounds of pure joy, Charlie is a happy, playful, affectionate little guy with a huge heart! He loves other dogs, playing with toys, running in the fenced yard, and going for daily walks. He absolutely adores cuddling with his foster mom.<br/>Charlie is a loyal little companion who loves being close to his people. He's making progress with leash walking and potty training but still needs some guidance. He wears a belly band at bedtime. Charlie is uncomfortable around men and will need patience and understanding while building trust.
