Charlie's Story

ATTENTION: All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We do NOT have a kennel with multiple dogs. If you find a dog you want to meet in person, please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application. We will make every attempt to process all applications within 3 business days of receipt.

// // Meet Charlie! Charlie is a 12-year-old, 18-pound Poodle mix with the best "go with the flow" attitude. He's quiet, easygoing, gets along with other dogs, and is happy wherever his people are. He rarely barks and doesn't let much bother him—you can literally vacuum around him and he'll barely blink. Don't let his age fool you! Charlie still enjoys short walks around the block and loves riding in a stroller for longer adventures. He has some age-related mobility issues and uses pet stairs to get on and off the couch, but he still gets around well. One of his favorite things is rolling around on his back, and it's guaranteed to make you smile. Charlie is potty trained, though he does have some age-related urinary leakage that's beyond his control. He's looking for someone who understands that growing older comes with a few quirks and will love him just the same. If you're looking for a sweet, low-maintenance companion who asks for very little besides a comfy place to nap and someone to love, Charlie is your guy. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. His adoption fee is $200.

All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption.

Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog.
