Charlie's Story

"Sweet Charlie" was found wandering the streets and neighborhood of Lodi. Fortunately, he found himself on the porch of some kind Samaritans who opened their home and hearts to him.

It is obvious that Charlie in his three years of life has had minimal socialization. He needs a little reassurance when experiencing new situations and can be a bit reserved when you first meet him but after he becomes comfortable, you will notice that he is quite the leaner. He also loves attention and affection. He has great eye focus, is very food/treat motivated, and is learning some basic obedience. He already knows "sit".

Currently Charlie lives with a 15 year old Terrier and has been very respectful to her. He IS VERY DOG SOCIAL and made some new friends during his stay at Badger Creek Kennels https://badgercreekkennels.net/. Although he was quite animated by a peacock, Charlie may be cat trainable. He did see some indoor kitties and even though a stern "Leave It" did the trick, close supervision is always recommended.

Although Charlie enjoys walks, he also enjoys being a "couch potato". All Sweet Charlie wants to do is "to please" his people.

FOSTERED IN LODI
