Charlie's Story
A phone call was received by Our Pal's Place from Cobb County Animal Services. Charlie had once again been picked up off the street and taken to the county shelter. This was no fault of Charlie's as his person was in bad health, would be rushed to the hospital with Charlie and a younger dog left outside in an unsecured yard. Charlie would follow the younger dog out of the fence and the two would get lost. Because Charlie had been originally adopted from O.P.P. at a young age, we knew his person and helped on two recent occasions to get Charlie and the other dog home and secured. A large sign was also posted in case of emergency call O.P.P. to get the dogs. On the third occasion of this happening, however, the decision was made that Charlie needed to stay with O.P.P. for his safety.

Now a senior, Charlie is looking for either a forever home or a senior foster home where O.P.P. pays all expenses. Charlie may be older but he is still full of energy and loves long walks! Charlie is always happy and very appreciative. He will make a very loving, loyal companion for someone very special.
