Charlie's Story
Meet Charlie!

is a 1.5–2-year-old, female, Pit Bull mix who’s fully vetted, spayed, and heartworm negative. She’s a happy, energetic girl who loves car rides and already knows how to sit, but to help her be an even better girl, she is training for the rest of her basic training.

Charlie gets along great with other dogs and has shown no signs of aggression. She was even fostered by a vet tech who said she did wonderfully in the house with multiple dogs and a cat. Chickens, however, might be a bit too interesting for her curiosity! This playful girl thrives on daily exercise and would make an awesome running buddy.

Charlie would do best with an active person or family who can help her burn off energy—just be mindful that her excitement may be a little much for small kids.

If you are interested in adopting Charlie, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.

**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
