Meet Fat Boy! Fat Boy is a 4 year old, mixed breed dog that weighs around 16 pounds. His family lost their home so he came to CCHS along with 10 other dogs. Fat Boy is friendly with people but didn't have a lot of exposure to strangers so he can be shy at first. He warmed up quickly with us and now welcomes any attention. He is not good with cats. He has lived with many dogs so he may be okay with them but he'll need to be fed separately. When living with a pack of dogs, everyone must fend for themselves and food is considered precious. He's a great dog that will make a wonderful companion. Apply today!

The adoption fee is $100.00. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Erlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption. CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going.
