Charlie

Charlie is a 3-year-old, 16 lb Terrier/Chihuahua mix who was rescued from a neglectful situation in Desert Hot Springs, along with Louie and Mocha. The dogs had been living outside where coyotes were a serious danger, and Charlie was reportedly not being fed consistently and had been spending time near the dumpsters.<br/><br/>Charlie is now safe in foster care, and after just one day, he’s already showing what a sweet little guy he is. He’s exploring his new surroundings, wagging his tail, and doing well with his foster siblings. His safe space is under the bed while he adjusts, but he’s already approaching his foster for affection. When she gently reached down to pet him, she said his whole body just melted into her. ❤️<br/><br/>Charlie is finally getting the chance to feel safe, loved, and cared for — and so far, he’s settling in beautifully. His neuter status is currently unknown.
