Charlie's Story

They were lovingly raised by an incredible foster until they were old enough to find forever families. Charlie’s story seemed like a dream come true—she and one of her sisters were adopted together by a wonderful, caring family.

But sadly, after two years together, Charlie and her sister have developed signs of sibling syndrome—a heartbreaking and unpredictable behavioral challenge that can sometimes occur when littermates grow up in the same home. Their family has tried everything, but for the safety and well-being of both girls, they’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to rehome Charlie.

This decision was not made lightly. They love her deeply—but now, Charlie needs a new beginning.

About Charlie:
– 2 years old, 60 lbs
– Housebroken & crate trained
– Does well on leash
– Great with other dogs (no cats, please)
– Shy at first, but a total love once she knows you
– Wonderful with all people, including young children
– Has food allergies and requires Apoquel shots + a special diet, but is otherwise perfectly healthy
– Loves her bones and toys—they bring her so much comfort and joy

Charlie is a sweet, gentle girl who didn’t do anything wrong.
