Charlie's Story

Meet Charlie — Your Big-Hearted, Big-Pawed Adventure Buddy!

Charlie is a 3.5-month-old Rottweiler puppy with a shiny black coat, a charming personality, and paws that promise he’ll grow into a large, impressive adult dog. He’s a fun, curious little who loves exploring the world, soaking up attention, and learning what it means to be part of a family.

Smart, Trainable & Learning Fast
Charlie is already crate-trained and sleeps through the night for about six hours without accidents. He’s working hard on his house training—he’ll happily do his business outside as long as you guide him and keep him on a schedule. He has mastered “sit” and is working on “stay” and “off” as he learns polite manners for a dog who will one day be quite big!

Playful Puppy Energy
He gets along great with dogs of all sizes and enjoys playtime—although he is in his teething stage, so expect some “baby shark” nibbling. Chew toys are his best friends, and he can’t resist de-stuffing anything soft. He also loves carrying shoes to his bed for snuggles (not chewing!), a habit his foster family is helping him grow out of.

What Charlie Needs in a Home
Because Charlie will be a large, strong dog with plenty of energy, he’s looking for a home that can provide:

A large, secure fenced yard for safe exercise and play

An owner with time, patience, and consistency to continue his training

Plenty of opportunities to burn off his abundant puppy energy

A budget ready for the food and vet care a big boy requires

Charlie would do best in a home without children under 10, simply because of his size, enthusiasm, and ongoing training needs.

A Great Adventure Partner
Charlie rides wonderfully in the car—he settles into his bed and enjoys the trip, making him a great companion for outings and adventures.

If you’re looking for a loyal, loving puppy with tons of potential and you’re ready to invest in his training and growth, Charlie may be the perfect match. He’s eager to learn, eager to love, and eager to find his forever family!
