Charlie 's Story
Charlie found his way to the rescue after his family were forced to relocate and could not take them along. Charlie has lived mostly outside his entire life, but also stays indoors without an issue. He has lived on 5 acres most of his life, so he has not been taken too many places. He would enjoy a quiet home where he can enjoy the rest of his life. He would be best in a home with older kids as he does not like people in his face. He appears to have had a traumatic experience in the past with a leash and is scared, but we are working through that issue and with a little patience, he will learn to trust. He gets along with other dogs and ignores cats. He is not the most athletic, so a relaxing home is best for him. He is a sweet dog once he trusts you, but will take some time. I am confident that there is a family out there willing to give Charlie what he needs. Is it you?
