They were lovingly raised by an incredible foster until they were old enough to find forever families. Charlie’s story seemed like a dream come true—she and one of her sisters were adopted together by a wonderful, caring family.<br/><br/>But sadly, after two years together, Charlie and her sister have developed signs of sibling syndrome—a heartbreaking and unpredictable behavioral challenge that can sometimes occur when littermates grow up in the same home. Their family has tried everything, but for the safety and well-being of both girls, they’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to rehome Charlie.<br/><br/>This decision was not made lightly. To adopt: Please email adoptroadtohome@gmail.com or fill out an application on our website at www.rthrs.com. Our protocol is that an adoption application be filled out. Personal and vet references are checked, and a home visit is required. Once the adoption is finalized, an adoption contract will be sent and executed by RTH and the adopter.
