Charlie's Story
Charlie is 10 years old, 46 lbs
Charlie needs a special adopter with a big heart and substantial finances.
She is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. very calm and low energy. she is housebroken and doesn't need a crate. She is good with other dogs.

She was dumped at a shelter, with a huge mass on her side. We had the mass removed which was soft tissue sarcoma, This is a malignant cancer. it is slow growing and they think they got good margins. there is a 40% chance of recurrence. She will need to be on daily cancer pills that will cost about $150/month. maybe less for 8-89 months... She will also need check ups every 6-8 weeks during this time..After 9 months, she will probably need only checkups every 6 months, as every senior dog does. This should reduce the chance to less than 15% reocurrence.
If you want to give a senior rescue dog a good home, she will bring you lots of joy and love. She has had a pretty miserable life and deserves a few good years.
