Our boy CHARLIE will steal your heart with his cuteness. This precious pup has the sweetest personality and he is super snuggly. If you are looking for puppy kisses and snuggles, Charlie is your guy. Charlie enjoys playing with other dogs and would do best in a home that has another dog for him to play with. He will make a great family pet. Charlie will be neutered prior to arriving in NJ on April 18. Due to Charlie's young age, adopters that are home most of the day are preferred. A NON-ELECTRIC FULLY FENCED FRONT OR BACK YARD IS REQUIRED. We typically adopt within 30 minutes of Wyckoff, Wayne, Dumont and Glen Rock NJ and Huntington NY. We WILL ABSOLUTELY consider other locations based on our availability to conduct a home visit in your area so do not hesitate to submit an application. We do our best to breed specify but we cannot guarantee any specific breed as all our pups are rescues. Application: Step 1- All potential adopters are required to fill out an Adoption Questionnaire by copying this link onto your browser: https://form.jotform.com/60475571571156. Once your application is verified and approved, a Bow Wows and Meows Pet Rescue representative will contact the applicant to schedule a home visit. Please note if you already have a dog and are adopting another we do require a meet and greet. We want to make sure your existing pet loves your new family member as much as you do. Conducting meet and greets on neutral territory will make the introduction process that much easier. If you have cats at home, we will do our best to cat test for you but it is not always possible. Out of State Adopters: We do adopt to out-of-state residents that live in NY, CT, PA. If you live outside New Jersey we will do our best to find a volunteer to conduct a home visit on our behalf. Please do not hesitate to submit an out of state application. You must come and meet the dog(s) in NJ that you are interested in adopting. You are responsible for driving your new family member home with you. Bow Wows and Meows Pet Rescue does not conduct DNA tests on the dogs it adopts out. We use information provided by the shelters, veterinarians, and volunteers to give the best estimate to the dog’s breed(s) and future size. As a result, we cannot guarantee the exact breed(s) or future size of any dog in our care. Our Adoption Contract must be completed prior to adoption Our mission is to place every pup in a loving home we feel best fits the individual needs of each pup. Our animals do not have a say in where they go; since we speak for those who have no voice, we must do it well. Everyone who wants to adopt an animal from a shelter or rescue group is special because they open their homes to those in need.
