Charli's Story

***Charli is with a loving foster family near Princeton, NJ. An application for her adoption can be submitted at socorescue.com (no need to register or login). Questions about Charli and/or our adoption policy should be sent to socorescue8@gmail.com; please do not call the rescue's number.***

Charli and her five littermates came to our rescue as owner surrenders. A requirement of us accepting these pups, the owner agreed to have the mom spay and was able to do so through a grant made available through Fix GA Pets. We were told that the mom was a Border Collie mix, but we're not positive of their breed.

Charli is just as sweet as she is cute! She's well-socialized towards people and plays very well with other puppies. She's calm, gentle and very affectionate. Charli will make a great addition into just about any home situation.

Charli will have received her first year "puppy" vaccines with her final round due on April 14th. She's also been de-wormed at proper intervals and started on their monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. She'll need to receive her rabies vaccination after the age of 12 weeks. Her adopter must agree to having Charli spay once she reaches 6 months of age and provide verification of such to our rescue. Charli will require all of her basic training.

Side note: Charli recently suffered a bite wound from one of her siblings. While she has been treated for the injury and is fine, she does currently have some scabbing on her neck where she was bitten.
