Charles's Story

Charles loves his toys and he is a big baby at approximately nine years old and 70 pounds. Charles is housebroken, crate trained, barks ALOT so he needs a lot of space. Charles is neutered, current on vaccinations and heartworm preventative. Charles appears to be good with indoor cats however, will chase cats relentlessly if outdoors. He would be best in a home with no cats, or a home where any cats are strictly indoors,

FURS holds monthly adoptions stands where those interested can meet our four-legged crew available for adoption. Our next adoption stand will be on December 13th, 10:00 am to noon, at Southern States in Midlothian (1200 Alverser Drive). We can make alternate arrangements for meeting the FURS dogs but we would require an approved application for adoption. There is no fee or obligation with submitting an adoption application and applications can be completed online at www.fursdogs.com.

NOTE: By clicking the "Start an Inquiry" button on Petfinder is NOT submitting an application for adoption with FURS. Please visit www.fursdogs.com for submitting an application for adoption.

A required step of our adoption process is to conduct a home visit. Since FURS is a very small, all-volunteer rescue, we can only support our adoption process to homes in the Richmond, VA and surrounding localities area
