Charles's Story

Meet Charlie!

Charlie is a true rescue dog. When we talk about dogs who have lived rough lives, Charlie is top of the list.

His teeth are filed down in the front and he has recently finished heartworm treatment. He is awaiting the results to see if the treatment worked. We have shared his story many times in the past and now we are looking towards the future!

Charlie is around 8-9 years old and weighs in at just under 100 pounds. He's a chunky boy! He does fine with other laid back, friendly dogs and with a slow introduction has had no issues... ALTHOUGH he much prefers the company of cats of any age. Cats are his spirit animal and he loves to cuddle them. He has lived with kittens and senior cats and doesn't discriminate in his love for them. He is housebroken and doesn't have accidents inside.

Charlie prefers a life of routine, consistency and as little excitement as possible.

Charlie wants a boring life. A boring life full of love, snacking and tons and tons of snuggles. If this sounds like a life you can provide to this sweet boy, please reach out for a meeting!
For even more photos, videos, and up to date information on our adoptable dogs please follow Voices for Taney County Animals on Facebook.
