She still plays with the enthusiasm of a younger dog, yet she also knows how to settle in, relax, and soak up the love around her.<br/><br/>She originally came to us after her previous owner experienced medical challenges that made it impossible to continue caring for her. Charger was dearly loved, and it shows in her sweet nature, her trust in people, and her quiet confidence. We are honored to help her find a new forever home — one where she can continue to thrive.<br/><br/>Charger is fully potty trained, having only a couple of minor accidents when she first arrived while adjusting to her new routine. She is wonderful with other dogs, respectful of cats, and excellent with children. She is kennel trained, though she rarely needs to be kenneled because she is such a well-behaved girl. On leash, she walks beautifully and stays right by your side, making outings enjoyable and easy.<br/><br/>She has excellent recall and knows all her basic commands, including “in” when asked to go into her kennel. Charger loves toys — especially tennis balls — and enjoys a mix of playtime and relaxation. She also appreciates the little luxuries in life, such as a cozy dog bed, warm blankets, and the occasional shared bite of dinner with her human.<br/><br/>Charger sleeps soundly through the night, whether she’s curled up in her foster parent’s bed or resting comfortably in her orthopedic dog bed. She adjusts well to routines and brings a sense of peace and joy into the home.<br/><br/>Because she came to us so well cared for, we have set her adoption fee low.
