Char's Story
This 6-month-old Chihuahua came to our shelter after being found abandoned when his owners moved away and left him behind. He spent about a week on his own before caring neighbors were finally able to catch him and get him to safety.<br/><br/>He’s a very shy boy, but when you talk softly to him, his tiny tail wiggles say more than words ever could. With patience, love, and a calm home, we know his confidence will continue to grow.<br/><br/>He currently weighs 7.3 pounds and is expected to be around 10 pounds full grown. He is up to date on vaccines and will be neutered before leaving the shelter.<br/><br/>This little guy is looking for a kind, understanding home where he can feel safe and loved again. If you’re willing to go slow and let him bloom at his own pace, he will be a very special companion.
