Chapo's Story
Chapo would love to spend New Year's with you! This explorative boy with one big eyebrow is 6 years old and weighs 55 lbs! This smart boy already knows how to sit! He tends to take treats roughly, so we'd recommend keeping a flat hand or throwing them, as he loves to catch them! He's still working on his manners, so if he's jumping on you, turn away and tell him no, off, or down in a stern voice! He doesn't mind taking a break to sit with you, but prefers to keep his nose to the ground and explore the entire area. He also did well with some children in our Critter Camp! Chapo got very excited and pulled hard on the leash when he saw another dog outside, but kept a loose body and wagging tail! As always, we highly recommend bringing any dogs you may have for a proper dog-to-dog introduction before adopting! Come meet Chapo today! ...
