It gives him character, makes him completely unforgettable, and somehow fits his sweet personality perfectly.

Seriously, how has nobody fallen in love with this face yet?

About Chance

Chance is an incredibly sweet and affectionate little guy who loves other dogs. He would do very well with another friendly dog for companionship.

He is also pee-pad trained, which is especially important because of one very serious safety requirement that his foster or adopter must understand.

IMPORTANT: CHANCE IS AN EXTREME FLIGHT RISK

THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF CHANCE’S BIO.

Chance is an EXTREME ESCAPE ARTIST and a VERY HIGH FLIGHT RISK.

For his safety:

NO LEASH WALKS. EVER.

This is absolutely non-negotiable. No exceptions.

Chance has proven that he can escape when being walked, and we are simply not willing to risk his life. A collar, harness, or someone believing they can “be extra careful” is not enough for this little guy.

Thankfully, Chance is pee-pad trained and does very well inside the home. He does not need neighborhood walks. He can live a perfectly happy life as an indoor companion with access to a VERY SECURE, FULLY FENCED YARD for supervised fresh air and potty breaks.

His foster or adopter must also be extremely vigilant with exterior doors and gates. Everyone living in the home must understand Chance’s flight risk and follow the same safety precautions every single time a door or gate is opened.

This is not a preference. It is a requirement for Chance’s safety.

He survived being dumped on the side of the road once.

We will not put him in a position where he could end up on the street again.

Chance’s Ideal Home
VERY secure, fully fenced yard REQUIRED
NO LEASH WALKS — NO EXCEPTIONS
A home that understands and takes his extreme flight risk seriously
Extreme caution with all exterior doors and gates
No children
No cats
Another friendly dog for companionship would be wonderful
A calm, secure home where he can enjoy being an indoor companion
Someone ready to love a quirky little senior with a very special smile and epic teefers
Foster or Foster-to-Adopt

We desperately want to get Chance out of boarding and into a home.

And if the expense of fostering is holding you back, Paw Patrol Animal Rescue supplies everything Chance needs while he is in foster care, including his food, veterinary care, medications, and supplies.

You provide the safe home and the love. We provide everything else.

Chance survived being abandoned on the side of the road. He fought his way back from being painfully emaciated and terrified, and somehow he still believes people are good.

Now he just needs someone to prove him right.

Please don’t overlook Chance.

Maybe his smile is a little special. Maybe his teefers are epic. Maybe he requires some extra precautions to keep him safe.

But underneath all of that is a sweet, affectionate little dog who deserves to finally have a home where he is safe, loved, and wanted.

Apply to foster or foster-to-adopt:

www.pawpatrolanimalrescue.com

Located in Miami, Florida

Paw Patrol Animal Rescue looks to place each pet in the home that is best suited for them.
ALL REQUIREMENTS FOR THESE PETS MUST BE MET.
An application for consideration of adoption must be submitted.
