Chance's Story
Meet Chance

Some dogs are born into loving homes.

Some spend their lives wondering what that feels like.

Chance knows what it's like to survive.

At just 2 years old, this handsome boy has likely spent much of his life fending for himself, searching for his next meal, a dry place to sleep, and someone kind enough to offer him a gentle touch. Yet somehow, despite everything life has thrown at him, he still greets every person with a wagging tail and a smile that lights up his entire face.

If dogs could choose bitterness, no one would blame him.

Instead, Chance chose love.

Today, he's safe, healthy, and finally ready to leave his past exactly where it belongs—in the past.

Our best guess is that he's a Labrador Retriever mixed with a Staffordshire Terrier or Black Mouth Cur, giving him the perfect blend of athleticism, intelligence, and unwavering loyalty. He's the perfect medium-sized companion, weighing around 50 pounds at a healthy weight.

Chance has worked hard to learn what life as a family dog is all about. He's crate trained, leash trained, fully vetted, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He loves other dogs, adores people, and has embraced every bit of kindness he's been shown.

But what Chance really deserves is something he's probably never had...

A bed that's his.

A family that comes home every night.

A toy basket instead of searching for scraps.

A name that isn't forgotten.

A life where he never has to wonder where his next meal is coming from.

Imagine watching this sweet boy discover the simple joys so many dogs take for granted—stretching out on a soft couch, chasing a ball in his own backyard, riding shotgun with the windows down, or falling asleep knowing he'll wake up loved and safe.

Those things may seem ordinary to us.

To Chance, they'd mean everything.

Rescue isn't just about saving a dog's life. It's about giving them the life they should have had all along. Chance has already survived. Now he's ready to truly live.

He's not looking for perfection. He doesn't need a mansion or endless toys. All he wants is someone who will look into those warm brown eyes and promise him that he'll never have to survive another day alone.

Could you be the family that changes his story forever?

If you're ready for a loyal best friend who will spend every day thanking you with tail wags, happy smiles, and unconditional love, Chance is waiting to meet you.

Please share his story. Somewhere out there is the person he's been waiting his whole life to find—and one share could be what finally brings them together.
