Chance's Story
Chance is a male Cocker Spaniel that was rescued from a home where several dogs had been shot and killed and Chance had been shot, but survived. The owners gave him up because they were afraid he was going to be killed also. He weighs 34 lb, and his hair is very easy to care for.

Chance is very sweet and docile, but he has plenty of energy and a desire to get outside the fenced yard. He likes to walk on the leash, but he doesn't run away if he gets out without the leash. When I bathed him, I didn't even get wet. I am not sure of his age, but his canines are clean and slightly rounded.

He has gotten along quite well with the six dogs at my house that he has been allowed to encounter. He has not shown any inclination to be aggressive. He's friendly with people, and we haven't had a chance to see if he gets along with cats.
