Chance's Story
Get ready. This story is going to tug at your heartstrings! On July 8, 2006, a good samaritan helped the local Ft. Lauderdale, FL Fire Department rescue a drowning dog trapped in the Intracoastal Waterway. After getting this dog to safety, it was found he was severely under weight and in need of urgent care...

"Chance" is a loving, sweet dog and has no signs of aggression. He's been taken to a local vet for a physical and treated throughout the past months for all symptoms found pertaining to his condition (medical paperwork is available) The vet believes Chance is approximately 4 years old, and might have had a tough life due to previous scaring
Through out the past few months, Chance has managed to gain just over 12 lbs ( now 62 ). Also he responded well to all his treatments and seems to LOVE having a home. He is a perfect inside dog, who IS completely housebroken, only chews on toys, and walks well on a leash. Chance has a mellow demeanor and loves to snuggle but still slightly skittish around strangers and scared of some sudden movements or startling noises. He does well with my family and friends, even young children. He gets excited sometimes by other dogs but keeps to himself just wishing he could play and ALWAYS has been well mannered. Chance has had a rough past and is now a lover not a fighter; he is in need of a loving home or even another foster home. Preferably someone with a yard or the a place to play and some good one on one time, but his guard dog duties I hope are long over.

Chance has never growled and only once have I ever even heard him bark. Please help this beautiful animal learn that humans are not all mean and cruel and let him live an AMAZING life with a new best friend and human companionship.

How it works If you are interested in adopting me... -Please fill out my adoption application at the address provided below and send it to KissAPit@Gmail.com.

http://www.angelfire.com/planet/pitbullterrier/adoptapp.html

Once your done with that, someone will be getting back with you in the next 24 hours after Veterinarian reference check is cleared to set up a home inspection.
