Chance's Story
Meet Chance! He’s a big 2-or-so-year-old boy who’s very snuggly at times and likes to roughhouse at others. Wrestling is a lot like snuggling when you’re a young dog, after all.

Chance was returned to North Paw after over a year in an adoptive home due to no fault of his own. That home just wasn’t quite the right fit. Since then, he’s been working hard every day with a trainer to build on what he learned, both good and bad, with his first family so his second chance at a furever home will be a success.

He can get along with most other dogs but he’s selective about which ones he wants to befriend. If you already have a dog at home he’ll need a meet and greet with a nice slow introduction to ensure success with a furry sibling. He can be dog reactive but he’s been working on that with his trainer. He will bark back if another dog barks first but he’s come a long way. He’s also been practicing walking nicely on a leash instead of pulling so both he and the human at the other end of the leash can have a good time!

Chance’s ideal home will be with someone experienced with large breeds and with dogs who need a strong leader from their person and someone who will help him continue building on the training he’s already received.

Chance's adoption fee is $400, which includes: his alter, a microchip with a lifetime subscription, his rabies and DAPP vaccines, flea/heartworm preventative, and a deworming treatment while in foster care.

If you think he may be perfect for you, please apply using the link below!

https://www.cognitoforms.com/NorthPawRescue/NorthPawRescueDogAdoptionApplication

**Unfortunately, we cannot adopt out to Canada at this time.

**We require a 60 minute adoption radius. This dog is currently being fostered in Webster, NY.
