Chance's Story

Meet Chance, this sweet and shy boy is ready to find his forever family! He was found on the streets with mange that covered his whole body. After some tender love and care, Chance's hair has almost fully grown back. Chance is around 9 months old and weighs around 22 lbs. He is still learning new sounds and environments. He does well with canine companions and has acclimated to sleeping in his crate at night. Chance is a huge snuggle bug and has found his voice. <br/><br/>Chance walks well on leash a greets everyone he meets. He can be nervous around new canine companions and sometimes needs some extra time for a proper introduction to learn other dogs play styles. He's acclimated to living in an apartment but would also love a yard to run around in. He loves going for car rides and on social outings and being around his people. <br/><br/>He'd love to be your family companion!

Submit Adoption Application Adoption applications for our pups and cats can be found using this link: https://www.amazingstraysrescue.org/forms-applications Please note: puppies are only adoptable to residents of San Diego county. 2. Interview If your application is selected to continue in the adoption process, a volunteer will contact you. 3. Home Check After reviewing your application and phone interview, we will conduct a home check. 4. Meet the Pet The ASR volunteer will help coordinate a play date between you and the foster so you can meet the pet. 5. Pay Fee 6. Sign Adoption Contract Please note: we are a volunteer based rescue and due to the large number of applications we receive, we are unable to respond to each individual applicant.
