Chance's Story

Meet Chance!

Chance is an almost 6-year-old Lab x Heeler with a heart ready for a second chance. Originally adopted from us as a pup in December 2020, Chance's first family realized he grew bigger than they expected and sadly had to return him.

While we don't know all the details of his life over the past several years, what we do know is that Chance is experiencing some stress in the shelter environment. He's thrilled to meet people, but he carries a lot of pent-up anxiety. He's sensitive to assertive handling and is quick to set boundaries, so a home without children would likely be best.

Chance is an older guy who just needs patience, guidance, and structure. With the right family to show him how to relax, how to live alongside humans, and how to enjoy love and companionship, Chance has the potential to thrive. He may take a little time to settle in, but with consistency and care, he'll reward you with loyalty, affection, and the joy of being a well-adjusted dog.

Chance is ready to find the calm, loving home he deserves. Could that be yours?
