Champion's Story

Champion is a silly, animated pup. He is pretty shy to start but has alot to give once he knows you. He is good with other dogs, would probably not do well with children and needs a quiet home with someone able to spend a lot of time with him to gain his trust. He will be shy at first so if you are not willing to give him at least a month to start acclimating, he is not the dog for you. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. He weighs about 40 pounds.

Pet Tender Angels Rescue and Rehabilition's Adoption Policy
We require an application or phone interview(if you can not get on a computer) before making an appointment to come visit the shelter. The application does not obligate you to anything but gives us a little better information as to what would be a good match for you and provides us with contact information in the event of a change to appointment. Once you have met the dog and want to pursue...we will do a wellness visit with the dog at our vet and schedule a homevisit where we will bring the dog to your home to meet any other pets in the home and to see how the dog does in your environment to give you better insite into what you will be working with. If the homevisit goes well, the adoption is finalized.
