Hi, I'm Champ! I’m an energetic and playful pup who loves to have fun! Tug-of-war is one of my favorite games, and I’m always careful with my teeth when I play. I’m also gentle with treats—I’ll sit for one and take it nicely from your hand. I’m still working on my leash manners, especially when I get excited, but I’m learning to pull less. I’m possibly house-trained and will go outside when you bring me. I’m very affectionate and love cuddles, kisses, and all the pets. I’m easygoing with other dogs and just enjoy being around my humans. I can’t wait to find my forever home where I can keep playing, learning, and giving love! Champ is currently in foster care outside of the shelter. Companion Animal Alliance's Adoption Policy

We offer pets for adoption six days per week at the sheltering facility at 2550 Gourrier Ave: 10 am-6 pm Tuesday-Saturday, and 10 am-3 pm Sunday. Pets of all sizes, breeds, and ages are available for adoption or fostering. All pets adopted are sterilized (spayed or neutered), current on vaccinations, tested for heartworm disease, Feline Leukemia, and FIV as appropriate, and have an implanted microchip.

About our services We operate the sheltering facility for East Baton Rouge Animal Enforcement. By law dogs & cats are held 3 days, and for 5 days if they have ID such as tags or microchips.
