CHAMP's Story
CHAMP Kennel Card: 12032023J-D1

Champ is a 3-year-old, 67-pound male Shepherd mix who was found as a stray by Delano Animal Control on December 3, 2023. He is a handsome, confident dog with a strong personality and loves getting attention from his people.
Champ would do best as the only dog in the home, as he does not enjoy being around other dogs and prefers to have all the attention to himself. With the right owner who understands dominant dogs and can provide structure and consistency, Champ can be a loyal and devoted companion.
Champ is neutered, vaccinated (including Rabies), and microchipped. He is ready to find a loving home where he can thrive and be someone’s one-and-only best friend.

At the time it is unknown if he is house/crate trained. Dogs are NOT tested with children and cats; his behavior towards children and cats is unknown. He is available for adoption/rescue as of 12/8/2023. If you are interested in adopting him, please contact the Delano Animal Shelter or inquire below on Petfinder for more information. If this is your dog, contact the shelter as soon as possible. If you have any questions, please call 661-720-2244 or e-mail us at acontrol@cityofdelano.org
-Photos are taken by Delano Animal Shelter staff :)
