This adorable, stocky mixed breed girl is named none other than Chaka Khan! She is almost 2 years old in Feb 2026 and weighs just over 50 pounds. <br/><br/>This sweet girl wants nothing more than to be with her very own hooman(s)! She wishes for a home with someone(s) who is home with her the majority of the time! She loves to cuddle, to climb up next to you or even on your lap if you let her--she will fit, no worries, she says! She wants nothing more than to get all the cuddles and lovin' that she can get! So be ready to give it as much as you're willing and able! She will probably be the little girl who becomes your little shadow around the house. <br/><br/>She has made some doggy play mates since coming to WAG but does get somewhat reactive to some of them if she doesn't know them or doesn't expect them. We do not know how she is with farm animals or cats. She is not housetrained. She will need an adopter who is willing to be patient and consistent with her. Poor Chaka has never had that in her life. She deserves all the love and affection she can get!! <br/><br/>Chaka is very treat motivated and definitely affection and praise seeking/motivated so training should be easier with her for that reason. She has been doing wonderfully with regards to her leash and command training since coming to WAG. She will just need an adopter committed to continuing the patience and consistency in training that we have started with her. And of course, the love and affection she has so desperately been missing the first few years of her life. She deserves nothing but the best the rest of her life!
