CHAI's Story

MEET CHAI! Chai is a 1 year old girl looking for a new beginning. She arrived on our doorstep because her owner was experiencing housing instability and decided it was best that Chai, and her sister Latte, get the chance to meet a new family that will give her everything she needs. Chai is eager to please and enjoys meeting new people and other dogs. She is a an active and sweet girl, she enjoys walks and playing with her favorite toys - whatever your up for she's up for doing! We don't have a ton of history on her but we do know she's ready for the next adventure that life has to offer her. Consider dropping by our Boston branch during our open hours to meet her. My friends describe me as: adventurous, enthusiasic, and snuggly! Chai is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. For more information on Chai or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.

Animal Rescue League of Boston's Adoption Policy

We require the following as part of the adoption process: - We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirement. - Adopter must be 18 years of age or older - A photo of the cage your pet will live in, if adopting a small animal or bird - Adopters are responsible for bringing their own travel carrier to bring home all adopted cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, and other small animals or birds of a larger size. All ARL Animal Care & Adoption centers offer new travel carriers for sale ($35 – $40 depending on size), along with gently used carriers, as supplies last ($10).
