You could barely see me as I scurried quickly under tables and shivered in corners when I saw you. Then I met an amazing foster mom who quickly realized I didn’t know how to dog. She and her pack of little doggies gave me the time, space, and quiet caresses to show me that I could come out at my pace without getting hurt. It has taken me a couple of months to shed my fears. BUT my foster mom now calls me her little hamster who loves to sleep on a pillow next to her and cuddle under the blankets. I know meeting a new forever family is going to be a BIG step for me and I’ll need a slow introduction to my new surroundings BUT I am ready!<br/><br/>What I need now from my forever family:<br/><br/>Patience, calm, space, quiet encouragement, puppy pads as a backup, a small furry dog companion to teach me to dog, and a cave of pillows on the couch next to you. Walks aren’t necessary but a secure backyard would be wonderful. No young children, please.
