Cedar's Story
Meet Cedar and Birch! These girls came to us alongside their momma Magnolia and brother Ash after being dumped at a construction site. Our best guess is Magnolia was left there and gave birth alone in a place where no dog should have to.
They came into our rescue so that Megan could ensure that the litter was safe and sound. At this time, they are 14 weeks old and looking for their individual forever homes!
Things to note about these puppies, or puppies in general:
- They are not potty trained at this time. They have worked on pee pad training as they don’t have all their vaccines due to age so adopters will be expected to be patient and consistent.
- There first few days could be a little rough because currently they are still being fostered together and it’ll be a big adjustment! They are however, showing signs that they are ready to be apart and find their own play friends and people.
- As mentioned they only have their age appropriate vaccinations so leash training will also be new.
- They have met dogs of all different sizes and have done so well. They are confident, playful and though they don’t need another dog in their household we want to ensure that their forever homes continue to socialize them so they continue to stay this way!
Cedar is currently being fostered in Chicago and does have an open adoption radius for meaning she can be adopted in or outside of Chicago. However, selected adopter must be willing to meet and finalize in Chicago. Their adoption fees include their age appropriate vaccines, spay, multiple rounds of dewormer, first round of prevention (flea, tick, and heart worm) and their microchips.
