Cayuya's Story

Meet beautiful Cayuya (name pronounced Key-ah-wa nicknamed yawa). This gorgeous girl came to the states from Peru and then joined our rescue in hopes to find her forever home. Cayuya is 3 y.o and 34lbs. She is shy at first and will need patience and a few days to decompress in a new home but once she does, she is one hilarious girl with quirky antics who loves her people very hard. A home with low foot traffic would be best for her and especially a home with another dog. She loves other dogs and loves to play with them. She is housebroken and crate trained as well. Cayuya has a very outgoing personality and is sure to bring smiles to your face. Her one “flaw” is that she likes to put her paws on the counter. She has never taken anything off of it, not even food but she likes to be nosey and see whats up there with her eyes barely breaking the surface of the counter (to give you an idea on her size). Her ideal adopter would be someone who would invest time into her because especially with Cayuya, it is so rewarding.
If you are interested in adopting, please copy and paste this link below into your browser OR visit www.sfmuttrescue.org to submit an adoption application.

https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/MPRI/Dog
