Catya's Story

Catya needs a forever home! She can be a forever foster or adopted. She would do best in a home with a large yard. She has medium energy and would love to be able to run around. She is currently working with a trainer as she can be leash reactive and gets nervous in her current foster home. We think she wants doggy friends, but her current fosters are not able to do any dog introductions. She is just too much dog for her current fosters. Here is her story: The shelters are so full that 72 hour notices are being given on nice adoptable dogs! Catya, called Kona from the Downey shelter, found herself incarcerated on December 8, 2022. She is a 10 year old Germán shepherd that is friendly with people and nervous with other dogs. She was given a 72 hour notice after only being in the shelter for two months. She was on our radar but we needed a foster to save her. Luckily someone reached out to us. We need a home for Ctya asap. She is a nice dog. She deserves a good home.
