Cat Benatar's Story
Meet Cat Benatar!!!

Cat Benatar is a lively 6-month-old, medium-sized pup weighing around 20 pounds. He came to us through a transport from another shelter, so while we don’t know much about his early history, we’re quickly learning that he’s a bright, spirited young dog with lots of love to give. His enthusiasm and zest for life make him a fun companion for someone ready to keep up with him.

This spunky boy is always on the go and enjoys having something to do. Because of his high energy, he may be a bit overwhelming for younger children, so we recommend a home with older kids who can participate in his play and training. Cat Benatar loves toys, treats, and anything that engages his busy mind and body.

He’s also quite social with other dogs and gets excited when he has the chance to play. He would likely enjoy living with another dog who can match his energy level and play style. We do recommend that all human family members come to meet Cat Benatar prior to adoption to ensure he’s a great fit for your household.

At his age, Cat Benatar is still learning the ropes, so continued training will be important to help him polish his manners and grow into a well-rounded adult dog. He will thrive in a home that can provide plenty of daily mental and physical exercise, along with guidance, structure, and lots of love. If you’re looking for an energetic, fun-loving companion, Cat Benatar just might be the perfect match!

He is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives.
If you have further questions, please call the shelter at (517) 626-6060 or email our adoption staff at adoptions@AdoptLansing.org.
