Caspian's Story
Meet Caspian – Smart, Playful, and Learning Fast!

Caspian is a 3-month-old, 22 pounds, Border Collie mix who was surrendered to us locally by an elderly couple who realized a young herding breed pup was more than they could handle. He’s now in a great foster home where he’s learning the ropes and getting the structure he needs.

Like most Border Collies, Caspian is bright, energetic, and full of curiosity. He’s showing some of that classic herding behaviour — playful heel nipping — but he’s a quick study and already responding well to training.

Caspian will do best in a home that understands active, working-breed pups and can give him the exercise, training, and mental stimulation he thrives on. He’s adorable inside and out, and with continued guidance, he’ll grow into a loyal and well-mannered companion.

Caspian is ready for adoption now. He will be neutered at 6 months of age with our vet in Duncan, which is included with your adoption fee. Adopters are expected to bring him to his surgery appointment that is scheduled for him in January.

If you are interested in meeting any of our available dogs, please fill out an adoption application found here www.nadrs.org/adopt

Only approved applicants can meet any of our available dogs because they are all cared for in private foster homes. We are a foster-based rescue organization.
