This little sweetie is Casper, a 7-8 pound, almost 3-year-old, long-haired Chihuahua mix. Casper loves running around and playing in the fenced-in yard with the other small dogs in his foster home. He is not a big barker so he could live in a condo or apartment. Casper has moderate energy, walks well on a leash, is completely housebroken. This gentile pup will play with squeaky toys if enticed but he really prefers to simply hang out with his people. Casper is a "home body" vs an "adventurer" so he’s not a companion for lots of trips the car or visiting other places.<br/><br/> Casper is a shy boy who requires patient, gentle, kind adopter(s) who will give him time to acclimate to his new home and family. He really wants to be your best friend but he is initially wary, so going slowly and allowing him to get to know you (and others) is a must....but he is so worth it! Casper will happily jump up onto his foster mom's lap while she's watching TV or sit on the back of her recliner; he isn’t a fan of being held.
