Casper's Story

Meet Casper, one of our big handsome boys. Casper came to us as a very scared stray. He has come a long way and is ready to find his forever home. He seems to be dog selective here at the shelter. So, a meet and greet with any of the other dogs in the home is a must. We have not yet tested him with cats. <br/>He is sweet but a very strong boy. Union County Humane Society's Adoption Policy

At the Union County Humane Society, we spay/neuter, microchip, temperament test and vet check 100% of the animals we adopt to the public and continue to work with our adopters following adoption. We put over $350 into each pet we adopt out. Each Adopted Animal: - Has been examined by our veterinarian - Has been spayed/neutered - Is on heart-worm preventative - Is on flea preventative - Has been treated for worms - Has been vaccinated - Has been micro-chipped Adoptions can occur on the day you come in to meet your forever friend. Stop in and see us! If you rent, we need to confirm you are permitted pets. All adoptions are subject to staff approval.
