Casper's Story

Hi! My name is Casper! I'm a 7-month male lemon and white male beagle! I'm a very loving & affectionate boy! I'm very playful & extremely active! I really like plush chew toys! Of course, I'm a young guy so I'll be full of energy for the next several years! I'm basically housetrained, although I might have an occasional accident (especially if my people are out for 8 hours or so). I'm used to going outside about every 4 hours. I'm fine overnight though. I will bark, jump or run to the door when I need to go outside. I'm not crate trained. I like to hang out on the furniture & sleep in bed with my people at night! I meant some of the NBR dogs available for adoption & I did great with them! Also, I used to around dogs at the dog park & I was fine with them! I'm not good with cats & I need a home without any cats. I'm a typical beagle & so I will run off if I get loose! I will bark when I'm on a car ride. I'm up-to-date on vaccines & will be neutered before I'm adopted. I'm so anxious to find my forever home! Are you it?!! Kennel License #4068

Nittany Beagle Rescue's Adoption Policy

Thank you for your interest in adopting a rescue dog & Nittany Beagle Rescue! We are a foster-home based rescue. We hold showings on the 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month at Lyons Kennels in Bellefonte, PA from 11am - 1pm. You can meet some of our dogs then! Please email or send a PM on our FB page if you want to know if a particular dog will be at the showing. If you are interested in a particular dog, or a type of dog, please submit an application to foster or adopt (it's the same application form). Once you have an approved application for a dog, we will connect you with the dog's foster parent. Typically the potential adopter & foster talk on the telephone first. Then if the dog seems like a good fit, we arrange a personal meet & greet.
