Cashmere's Story
Meet Cashmere 🤍🐶

Cashmere is a 4 month old double merle Cocker Spaniel who just happens to be blind and deaf — but you would never know it from her attitude. She is a happy, smart little puppy who approaches the world with confidence and pure joy.

Cashmere navigates life using her nose and the vibrations around her, and she’s already learning her home routine. With a little repetition she remembers where food time happens, where potty breaks are, and how to get around the house — both with and without her halo harness. She sleeps through the night and settles in beautifully.

Her favorite thing in the world is her people. The moment she smells you coming, her whole body turns into a wiggle butt. She’ll gently nibble at ankles to say she recognizes you and then bounce up asking to be picked up. Once she’s in your arms, she melts into a cuddle bug who just wants to stay close.

Because she can’t see or hear, she does need a home willing to move thoughtfully — slow introductions to other pets, consistent routines, and basic safety awareness around doors, stairs, and the yard. She’s very intelligent and responds wonderfully to positive reinforcement and touch-based communication.

Cashmere doesn’t see her disabilities as limitations — she just experiences the world differently. What she offers in return is a deeply bonded companion who loves her people with her whole heart and trusts them completely.

If you’re looking for a special puppy who will form an incredible connection with you, Cashmere is ready to wiggle her way into your life. 💕

Apply to meet/adopt her here - https://muttmisfits.org/contact/adoption-application/

She will be up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $300.
