Cashmere

Cashmere(Cash) is a 7 yo Maltese weighing 12 lbs that we rescued from a commercial breeding kennel. Cash is learning what it means to live in a home - steps, new noises, doors, touch, TV's, leashes etc. Cash had to have her remaining teeth removed due to decay but has no trouble eating soft food. She has a great appetite. She goes potty outside, walks around the neighborhood on a leash, enjoys good soft food and exploring the yard. She is fascinated with all the birds and squirrels. She loves liverwurst, chicken and beef hot dogs so she will come and take from my hand and if the refrigerator door opens, she runs over just in check if it's something for her. <br/>She is good in the crate overnight and I have left her for 3-4 hours during the day with no problem. She knows “go potty”. Her crate has also been dry overnight. <br/>She will need another calm dog in the home to show her the ropes and build her confidence. I do have a fenced yard and that would be preferred as she loves it. But if no fence, she will need to be on a leash to be safe. She knows the word "come" and working on "wait". <br/>Mill dogs make the best pets ever who will bond with you forever. <br/>Her fur is growing in as she came in shaved. The brown is from licking with a mouth full of bacteria from bad teeth that were all removed and with good food and regular grooming, her looks will blossom.<br/><br/>Cashmere is now spayed, up to date with vaccines and microchipped. She tested negative for heartworm and has been started on monthly heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $250.00.
