This adorable puppy is so handsome. He has puppy energy and is looking forward to sharing his life with his forever family – get ready to fall in love.<br/><br/>Cash was an owner surrender. He was rescued from a home with an elderly owner who had more dogs than could be properly cared for. We rescued 4 Chihuahuas from this home. Cash is now safe and ready to start a new chapter in a loving, forever home. We love this sweet boy and cannot wait for you to meet him.<br/><br/>Cash is growing up with his brother Nash in a foster home. He has a high level of puppy energy. Cash gets along with other dogs (both small and large) in his foster home and loves all people and even kids! He has a lot of energy and loves to run and play. Cash loves wrestling around with his siblings and chasing them around the yard. When they get tired, they cuddle in their doggy bed for a quick nap. Cash also loves playing with toys of all kinds. He hopes his new family has a large toy box.<br/><br/>Cash loves his foster family. He is very affectionate and loves to snuggle. He wants to please his family and always stays close so he can get love and attention. This cuddlebug will happily melt into your arms for snuggles — Cash just wants to be loved and give love in return. He would make a great family dog.<br/><br/>Cash is super smart and is always learning. He has done very well on his potty training and will go outside and also use potty pads. He will have an occasional accident when left alone for extended periods, so his new family will want to keep him on a regular potty schedule. There is a doggy door in their foster home and they have learned to use that when their foster family is around to supervise. Cash sleeps in a doggy bed in an ex-pen at night. Due to his vaccination status, we have not begun to train him on a harness and leash yet.<br/><br/>Our vet estimates Cash to be about 2-3 months old (as of early November). He weighed 4 pounds during his 8 week check up and is still growing. He has a beautiful tan and white coat. His little ears stand up when you call his name.<br/><br/>Cash’s ideal home will be one with a high activity level. He would love to have another small dog (maybe 1 – 4 years old) to play with. Applications will not be considered where he will be the only dog. Cash will need a family who can check on him every 4-6 hours (would not be a good fit for a family that works 10-12 hour days). He would be great in a home where there’s a great deal of activity and people were home a lot. Cash does not bark much at this age. There are no children in his foster home, but he has met children and adores them. We think he will do well with children 8 and older.<br/><br/>We adore this little boy, and know there is a perfect family out there for him. If you love to have fun and then cuddle, Cash wants to be your BFF. His vet work will be completed in mid-December, and he will be ready for his forever home at that time. We are accepting applications now.<br/><br/>Cash is being fostered in the DFW (Texas) area. Reference checks, adoption contract and $350.00 adoption donation required.<br/><br/>As part of our mission to reduce the number of unwanted and sick dogs, we require that all current pets are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and taking heart worm prevention. Applications will not be considered if one or more of these requirements are not met.
