Cash's Story

Hi, I'm Cash! I'm a 2-year-old male heeler. I am current on my vaccines, neutered, and soon to be heartworm tested and microchipped.

3 words that describe me: Friendly, Curious, Affectionate

Words from Cash's foster mom: "Cash continues to do well at our house with our dog, Lucy. He's on a great potty schedule, and he's less fearful every day. He loves to curl up on the couch or guest bed, go for walks, and get treats. He also learned to go into his crate on command. Cash is so sweet and affectionate once he warms up, and he's going to make someone very happy in his new home."

Cash was brought to CRHS after being rescued from a large scale animal neglect case in Juneau County where around 80 other dogs were saved. Due to my rough start, I am a bit of a shy guy. I would appreciate a calm living environment and my forever family will need to be willing to take things at my pace. Once I get to know you I'm super friendly and affectionate. I'll be a lap dog in no time!

Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 7/10

I should do well in a home: Due to my nervous temperament any children in my potential home will need to be 5 years or older. I should do well with other dogs given proper introductions and time to adjust. My friends at CRHS are unsure how I'd do with cats.

My favorite activities are: Getting affection, going for walks, and enjoying the outdoors!

My adoption fee is: $300

*If you are interested in adopting, please start by filling out an application available on our website and email it to us. https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal
