He currently weighs 26 pounds. This young boy has the perfect mix of playful puppy energy and laid-back “curl up on the couch” vibes, the best of both worlds.<br/><br/>Cash has already learned a lot in his young life. He’s crate trained, enjoys car rides, and happily heads out for walks and park visits. He loves toys, lounging, and soaking up attention from his people. Bath time and nail trims? He’s a gentleman. He even passed a group-play evaluation at PetSuites with flying colors and did wonderfully with other dogs.<br/><br/>Cash has lived with cats and does well with them, although he is curious and may try to play, but he’s respectful. He has also lived with children (ages 8 and 11). Like many young pups, he can get excited and jump or play, but he’s been making steady progress with guidance and consistency.<br/><br/>Cash is still growing into his confidence, so new people and new places can make him a little nervous at first. With reassurance, patience, and calm introductions, he warms up beautifully. He may bark at noises, but he settles once he knows everything is okay. He’s young, smart, and eager to learn and looking for his forever family to help him continue developing and thriving. You will be asked to return for at least one follow-up visit, then take the dog home for a trial period before officially adopting.<br/>• You must be 21 years or older to adopt from STAF.<br/>• Due in part to increasing coyote activity/incidents in the area and the difficulty of predicting how a dog will respond to invisible fence training, we can not adopt to homes with invisible fences.<br/>• We do request vet and personal references.<br/>• We can facilitate adoptions within a 30-mile radius of our Cincinnati-based shelter
